The property has a bright modern feel but retains a welcoming atmosphere. The lovely fitted kitchen is well equipped and has an open-plan dining area. The sitting room is stylish and comfortably furnished with a gas fire. Outside there is a pleasant garden with furniture and a barbecue area and the garage has been put to use as a games and utility room. The centre of the village is just a 10 minute walk away and has various shops and restaurants. The location of the cottage makes it an ideal base for an enjoyable holiday all year round.

Don’t miss a trip to Lindisfarne, birthplace of English Christianity, or to Hadrian’s Wall, which runs through the county. And for great shopping and nightlife, and a unique atmosphere, head to Newcastle.
